Creation has always felt more like a compulsion than a pastime to me. Through years of 80-hr weeks in construction, this compulsion never diminished but was influenced by the materials I worked with and the people I could (or couldn’t) relate to.

What I sought out to distract from my corporate drudgery lead me to the things that inspire me to feel peace.

The motivation behind my work is to create things that make people feel seen, not just on their best day but any day, and know they are appreciated. We need reminders of this in our homes, our sanctuaries.
